article from 25.12.2020:
Today I saw the Unicef-photo of the year 2020. On the website of Unicef you can see the pictures from place 1 to 10 from the photo-competition 2020.
To me these pictures are a single indictment of poverty, because they show mini-cutouts from the reality of life of children as they occur a million times. The photos are
so shameful, because they would not have to exist in a more equitable distribution of chances and capital.
I
hope that more and more people will be touched by these pictures and realize that it can´t go on like this. It would be a great progress, if this competition had to be stopped, because there are no photo motifs any longer!
article from 12.11.2020:
Yesterday I met a former neighbor, who told me, that her day could have more than 24 hours, because she has so much hobbies, that her day is actually too short.
This inspired me to think about my own situation and I realized, that I became sluggish latterly. I started to read books again, respectively started this website. I think, there is a lot that is commonplace, although there are a lot of things, for which you don't need much money. It came to my mind, that earlier I liked to learn the russian language (which was very unusual in West Germany in 1979 to 1982 and at that time I thought, I would never hear these words again) and that I could refresh my knowledge. So I took my old school books out of the basement and started with an easy reading book. It still worked out fine, which made me very happy.
I think, you can call that "wealth" - if you discover thoughts or skills in yourself, which inspires you and you can deal with. Anyway, I felt "rich" yesterday evening.

Today I want only write a very short article, because this statement needs no explanation.
I found it in the internet, while I was seeking for a saying for a greeting card with the catchphrases "child" and "gift".
(* The calculation is according to the UN World Food Programs.)
Beneath the picture of a little child with torn off clothes it was written:
For 222 Mio. € you can either buy one soccer player
or feed 5.276.919 childs for one year.
article from 31.10.2020:
A few days ago I found a link (https://de.statista.com/themen/567/millionaere-milliardaere/ ) with a lot of measurement numbers about the distribution of money in the world.
Therefore 0,9% of the population got more than 1 Mio. US-Dollar; this 0,9% correspond to 19,61 Mio. people, who are called “millionaire” or “super rich”.
They own 43,9 % of all values = 73,96 Bio. US-Dollar – nearly 74 Bio. US-Dollar.
74 Bio. US-Dollar = 74.000.000.000.000 (!!!) US-Dollar.
The whole population includes nearly 7,8 Mrd. people.7.800.000.000
- 20.000.000 millionaires
- 300.000.000 (about 50 % of the people, who have between 100.000 and 1 Mio. US-Dollar, but are satisfied with their situation)
= 7.400.000.000 people
If the 20 Mio. super rich would give 10% of their capital in a great pot, then all the other poorer people would get about 1000 US-Dollar and could change their life situation. If you consider, that micro-credits in Africa with a few 100 Dollars are helping the people to get out of their bad conditions, it would be a great chance.
If the 10% of the capital is distributed only between the people with less than 10.000 US-Dollar, every single one would get about 1.700 US-Dollar!
And I think, the super rich people wouldn ́t become so much poorer... Or would they really realize, that they have for example only 18 Mio. US-Dollar left instead of 20 Mio. US-Dollar?
I ́m very interested in the opinion of this super rich people. Would they consider such a tax as a kind of communism or expropriation or would they be afraid, the financial crises is very near? How can someone be really lucky with such a capital? And are they lucky at all?
Certainly there are other people, who have the same thoughts. To them I want to say, you are not crazy, because you have such thoughts! Perhaps you are only a little more conscious or sensible than others...
